My name is Ana and I am 21 years old. I have always had a passion for graphic design long before I officially studied it as my parents are professionals in the field. Even though my parents are skilled graphic designers, I was never pushed to follow in their footsteps, yet I was lucky enough to have been surrounded by many artistic tools growing up and it became a form of expression for me. "Money doesn't make you happy" but "happiness doesn't necessarily make you rich". These two phrases stuck with me and encouraged my choices in gymnasium studies. For instance, I was drawn to the liberties of expression which led me to languages and political sciences. After graduating from high school, I felt relieved and at the same time completely helpless. I had the ability to express myself, however, I felt the need to be understood in a different way! Hoping to speak a universal language, I decided to study graphic design and visual communication. Although I wanted to study political sciences, the approach the Swiss professional training schools reinforce, I made the choice to take a step back and focus on expressing my feelings and ideas within the universal language of graphic design.
Project accomplished during the graphic design course with Sébastien Aeschmann. The goal was to create the visual identity of the new mudac. The logo takes up the concept of reflection and mirror. This shows that art is a reflection that can sometimes be distorted by reality.
